Our History
NEW MATCOM LIMITED is an agent to manufacturers of high quality and modern IT based security gadgets. These companies are based in USA, Europe and Asia. Our Company was born out of the urgent need for the supply of sophisticated IT based security gadgets required by professional bodies such as Banks, Hotels, Companies, Offices, Organisations, Sensitive Government Institutions, Public Areas, Streets and Residential Houses, to beef up their security outfit.
We commenced business operation in 1987 under the name Matcom Limited with the aim of providing electronic home appliances and office equipment such as fridge, gas cooker, fax machine, video digital camera, etc. In 1994 it was incorporated as NEW MATCOM NIG LIMITED and its object clause was diversified to include provision of surveillance security systems.
In 1995 we established our business relationship with AV Tech an Asian giant specialised in Digital Surveillance Security Systems and became Her Sole Representative in West Africa. As we kept upgrading for the sole aim of improving and providing equipment for security need, we established relationships with other companies. Despite all odds, we overcame and set our stumbling blocks as stepping stones.
Our Vision is to be a world class provider of IT based quality gadgets/surveillance systems and security systems and be a step ahead in this industry.
Our technical crew is equipped with current techniques and products information. We realize that skills upgrading is required for continuous technological development, which our company provides for our business/customers` trade growth and challenges. We are well equipped to meeting the present days’ challenges in all areas of our specialties as it relates to surveillance security.
